Our question to you is how can you use technology to transform consumer experiences?

In the now immortal words of Marc Andreessen, software is eating the world, and digital technologies are now playing a role in every part of our lives, from turning the lights on in the morning to preparing dinner at night.
However, we believe this is just the beginning, and there is still much more to come if you ask the right questions;
     •  If there is infinite shelf space online, how do you stand out from the crowd?
     •  When you can reach everyone in just a click, how do you reach your customers?
     •  When you have a super computer in your pocket, how do you access information?
     •  If payment was invisible, how do every day experiences change?
     •  With smart devices everywhere, how can you use voice or cameras to change the conversation?
There are still countless opportunities to transform our everyday experiences, from solving daily frustrations to creating wonderful new experiences, we are excited to see the solutions you can build to deliver digital commerce everywhere.

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation: Customers today expect businesses to seamlessly anticipate their needs as the world changes, with the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, unarticulated needs, or enhance existing needs.
  • Globalisation: Customers and businesses today operate in a global networked economy. Goods are made and sold all over the world, countries are closer to each other and goods, money and ideas can be exchanged faster and cheaper than ever before.
  • Consumer Control: Consumers today have taken complete control. They are connected, confident and curious. They care about cost, convenience and quality of their experience. They have the means to take more control of their behaviours and also their relationships with organisations – starting by taking advantage of the data they leave in their wake.

Examples:

     •  If there is infinite shelf space online, how do you stand out from the crowd?
     •  When you can reach everyone in just a click, how do you reach your customers?
     •  When you have a super computer in your pocket, how do you access information?
     •  If payment was invisible, how do every day experiences change?
     •  With smart devices everywhere, how can you use voice or cameras to change the conversation?
